Importing a complete sunroom system requires more than checking the appearance or quoted price. Before placing an order, verify the supplier's technical documents, material specifications, coating options, accessories, and inspection records. The documentation should describe the entire system rather than covering only the aluminum frames.
Check that the profiles use the agreed 6063-T5 aluminum alloy and that the stated wall thickness falls within the required 1.6–3.0 mm range. Confirm whether the selected powder coating or fluorocarbon coating complies with project requirements, including color, durability, and environmental conditions. The design should also meet applicable local building codes, structural standards, glazing rules, fire requirements, and weather-resistance criteria.
Establish how the system will be inspected when it arrives and how installation quality will be accepted on site. Define the required inspection reports, testing documents, packaging standards, delivery terms, customs paperwork, and responsibility for import clearance. Payment milestones should be linked to clearly identified production, inspection, and delivery conditions.
Ask the supplier to provide complete assembly instructions, drawings, accessory lists, and installation guidance. The contract should state who is responsible for missing components, transport damage, defects, replacement parts, technical assistance, and warranty service. A detailed checklist covering the frame, panels, hardware, drainage, seals, and finishing accessories can help prevent compliance disputes after delivery.
